Tokoriki Island Resort Dining
Under the shade of the palm trees by day or beneath a blanket of stars on your own private deck in the evening, dining at Tokoriki Island Resort is all part of the quintessential holiday experience. Our Local Fijian Kitchen Brigade create a daily changing menu featuring a mix of European, Asian and Fijian flavours.
We like to make sure you sample our Fijian culture not only in our activities but with our food as well. On Thursdays we feature a traditional Fijian feast and prepare a lovo which you can take part in. With our Team you'll discover how to pack and earth a good Fijian lovo and of course unearth it at just the right time to ensure all the flavours are locked in and everythings cooked just right! Our Lovo night is topped off with our Staff Choir serenading you with their traditional Fijian songs......and of course you're encouraged to join in.
We don't forget our Chinese heritage and on Sunday nights you'll get to choose your own vegetables, meat and sauces and watch our Chef's cook your dish in front of you during our Mongolian Stir Fry night. There are always staples one just has to have on a good menu in Fiji, so on our Dinner menu you'll always find Kokoda, Dahl Soup and a good Fijian Indian curry wrapping up your Fijian gastronomic adventure. Oh.....of course we do have one other dish on the menu that's always there: Sandy Ice-cream! Not because of it's cultural significance....it's just because it tastes really good and is our favourite dessert!
To complement the ever changing menus, we offer a selection of fine Australian and New Zealand wines and French Champagnes. If you savour a good cocktail you're in the right place! Our resident Mixologists behind the bar love to whip up a decadent Strawberry and Basil Martini, Berry Mule or have a good old muddle preparing a Mojito. Our extensive, creative and just down right tastey Cocktail menu is the best in the Mamanucas and will ensure you've got the right concoction handy during your escape!
