According to legend, when the Fijians first came to the Fiji Islands, they landed at Vuda Point. First Landing resort was built on this idyllic historic site just 15 minutes car trip from Nadi International Airport and located next to Vuda Point Yacht Marina. The resort sits beachside on 6 acres of exotic tropical gardens with massive raintrees and towering coconut palms. Accommodations are individual cottages with timber floors, high ceilings, a king or queen bed plus single bed (one extra bed can be arranged).
Cottages are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan, refrigerator, hair dryer and coffee/tea making facilities. One of Fiji's best restaurants, First Landing Restaurant and Bar, features an affordable menu of locally made pastas, tender imported steaks, seafood, pizzas, fresh crisp salads, cheesecakes, pastries, slow-perked coffees and exotic teas. First Landing Resort has an all-timber 'plantation style' cottage theme. We took a local design used in outer island and rainforest villages, and modified it to enhance our unexpected paradise.
All bures (cottages) are superbly appointed with high ceilings, polished hardwood floors, designer furnishings and a private, screened verandah.
Our 18 brand-new Beachfront Spa Bures command spectacular and expansive views across the ocean and nearby islands. They have a private spa bath in the bathroom with a 'secret window' for ocean views.
All bures have a westerly aspect for fantastic tropical sunsets.
The 10 Deluxe Garden Bures and 4 Superior Garden bures are set in lush tropical gardens near the beach.

First Landing's spacious 'Villa Nalamu' is a one of a kind in Fiji. A beachfront villa perfect for families or couples who want to relax in luxury and privacy while staying in paradise. Villa Nalamu features the following:

Full kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer unit
Spacious fan cooled lounge area with sea view, DVD TV and Stereo surround sound system, high pitched roof with exposed tropical timbers, massive sofa and lounge chairs, dining table setting for 6, coconut wood bar counter and large windows opening on to secluded pool and tropical garden area.
Upstairs air conditioned master bedroom with king size bed, hardwood floors, ensuite and private spa bath.

Restaurant
First Landing has one of the South Pacific's best restaurants, winning a Gold Medal at the annual chefs competition. We combine the essential ingredients of great food, the friendliest staff and a fantastic ambience, with its unique beachfront setting. Timber decks and coral platforms are set amidst swaying palms, overlooking the ocean and gardens.
Our award-winning executive chef, Emmanuel Singh, with over ten years' experience at the prestigious Regent of Fiji (now the Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort), brings a range of culinary delights to First Landing.
The restaurant is not only popular with our guests, but also with locals, visiting yachts and guests from other hotels in the Nadi area.

Our large fresh water swimming pool is one of the best in Fiji, with banana and pawpaw trees growing around the edges, a waterfall and interesting tile mosaics.
