Koro Sun Resort Activities

Activities that are complimentary at the resort include swimming in the adult pool and children's deck pool with a Giant Water Slide, Golf w/clubs, Tennis w/racquets, Volleyball, Full suspension mountain bikes w/helmets, Snorkeling equipment, Single or Double Sea Kayaks, Rainforest Trekking to our waterfall, Billiards, Table Tennis, Videos, Movies, Fijian Meke shows and Kava Ceremonies.

Activities which may be purchased include Scuba Diving, Deep Sea Fishing, Fijian Village Cultural Excursions, Massages and Treatments at our tropical "Rainforest Spa".

CHILDREN'S SERVICES

We have a daily Koro Kid's Adventure Program. that is included in your bure rate. If you require childcare in the evening please inform the front desk allowing 24 hour notice. An hourly rate of FJ$3.00 per hour will be charged to your bure.

FIJIAN MEKE SHOWS and KAVA CEREMONIES

Enjoy the Fijian native dance performances on varying nights during the week. Check with the receptionist for this week's schedule. Kava, Fiji's traditional ceremonial drink made from the root of the 'Yaqona' plant, can be enjoyed nightly. Our Somai band, which plays in the evening, always has a bowl of Kava ready!

IN YOUR BURE . . .

Shampoo, conditioner, coffee and tea are available and replenished as needed. Hairdryers are provided in all bures. Irons are available on request. Beach towels are located at the poolside or just inside the Sonaua lounge. You will find a Mini Bar Request form in your room. Please fill out and return to the front desk.

THE LOLOMA BOUTIQUE & PRO SHOP

Our boutique is located in the Clubhouse, oceanside. Fijian and Koro Sun clothing and traditional handicrafts made in the local villages are available, as well as coconut products and Kava. If you've forgotten anything, we carry toiletry items and basic essentials. Golf and tennis supplies are also available.

HOW TO DRESS

Around the resort, casual, comfortable clothing is encouraged. A Koro Sun sulu is our gift to you upon arrival. Please note that wet clothing is not allowed in our restaurant or lounges. Although casual attire is acceptable in Savusavu town, in the more remote areas of Fiji conservative standards of modesty prevail. If you're visiting a Fijian village, we advise women to cover both legs and shoulders. Bring your sulu with you!

LAUNDRY SERVICES

There is a laundry bag provided in each bure. Laundry will be collected by housekeeping in the morning. Cost for wash and fold service is per item. A listing of charges can be found on the laundry dockets.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Guests are encouraged to be aware of the delicate environments surrounding and within Koro Sun Resort. Please stay on marked trails while hiking in the rainforest. The best time to kayak and snorkel is at high tide. During low tide much of the coral is exposed and vulnerable to damage. We request that you leave seashells on the beach so they can be used as 'new homes' for other sea creatures. For more information on the area's environments, check our library for guide books, or ask a local Fijian!

TIPPING

Tipping of resort staff is not customary in Fiji. If you enjoyed the staff's service, please feel free to contribute to the Staff Appreciation Fund.
