Plantation Island Resort is nestled among 23 acres of towering palm trees on Malololailai Island and is fringed with a white sand beach that stretches for seven miles. It is within easy reach of Nadi Airport by scheduled flights or a one and half hour cruise by boat. Once a colonial copra plantation, accommodation options range from beautiful thatched bures to hotel rooms.
The atmosphere at the Plantation is warm and relaxed with days jam-packed with activities. Nights are for local cuisine and sumptuous buffets.

Plantation Island Resort offers a large and variable choice of accommodation featuring two bedroom beachfront and garden bures, lagoon and garden view hotel rooms, 1 bedroom garden bures and interconnecting garden bures. All accommodation features private bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, overhead fans, some hotel rooms have air conditioning, patios. We have no television in the bures/rooms. However there is a Quiet Room with a television and fax and computer access are available, just ask Reception.
Plantation Island Resort has 7 kilometers of beautiful white sandy beach to play on, snorkel amongst the reefs and view what has been described as some of the best coral and sea life in the world today. As an alternative, view the underwater world in our semi submersible. Scuba Divers are catered for by our PADI Dive Shop, and the furthermost dive site is located 30 minutes by boat from the beach. The Shark Encounter is not to be missed (Certified Divers Only).
Plantation Resort Water Sports
All non motorized water sports are complimentary to house guests, windsurfing and sailing the catamarans are very popular. For the more energetic parasailing, water skiing, jet skiing and the big banana boat are fun. Fishing enthusiasts are very well catered to, our staff have secret spots where they have been fishing for years. Catch your first fish in Fiji waters and the Chef will prepare it for you for either lunch or dinner.
Enjoy a Sunset Cruise, Moonlit Cruise or a Dolphin Safari on the Brigham II - a beautiful lady 11.65 metres long with Galley, Toilet and Kitchen.
Off shore excursions take you to other Island Resorts in the Mamanucas and traditional Fijian Villages where there is shopping with a difference, shop at the shell market or choose traditional hand made pottery which is made as it was in days gone by. Taste Fiji's traditional drink 'Kava' in a Fijian Ceremony with the Village Chief.
