6 Days Normandy Biking Adventure Tour Package
It’s hard to believe that the beaches of Normandy have been both WWII battlegrounds and hangouts for the rich and famous. And that’s just been in the last century. Normandy has found itself on the front stage of European history for more than a millennium now. It’s shores have seen William the Conqueror sail for England, and the arrival of the Vikings to France, an invading force who were later given Normandy by way of apeasement. But it’s also a land of boardwalks and moules frites, of horsefarms and apple orchards. On this trip you’ll explore both these Normandies. We’ll visit D-Day sites with a veteran of the French Resistance, follow winding streets through ancient towns, and dine on classical Norman cuisine. And from the coast inland to forests and pastures, we’ll bike through epic, sweeping landscapes. You’ll soon see why this is one of our favourite regions to cycle.
