Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Full Day Driving Tour of Paris
Today with  your private guide and chauffeur you will spend the day exploring Paris:
You will explore some of the most charming and authentic neighborhoods , landmarks and site, such as:
**Le Marais - One of the best-loved Right Bank neighborhoods and the ‘Jewish neighborhood’.
**Quartier Latin (Latin quarter) - The intellectual heart & soul of Paris. Bookstores, schools, churches, clubs, student dives, Roman ruins, publishing houses & expensive boutiques characterize the district.  You'll follow in the footsteps of Descartes, Verlaine, Camus, Sartre, James Thurber, Elliot Paul, and Hemingway as you explore.
**Saint Germain des Pres - For some, the most colorful Left Bank quarter. The secret of the district lies in discovering its narrow streets, hidden squares, & magnificent gardens, including the Jardin du Luxembourg.
**Montmartre - the most famous outer quarter of Paris. Topped by Sacre-Coeur, Montmartre is the highest Paris hill at 130 meters. Very rural until a century ago, Montmartre is the last village in the city. Many artists, including Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso lived there in late 19th / early 20th century.
**Arc de Triomphe — The Arc de Triomphe still exudes a certain grandeur despite the crowds of tourists and the tacky souvenir shops.
**The Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel) — No other monument that better symbolizes Paris.
**Les Invalides – In 1670, Louis the 14th built Les Invalides, a military hospital - a masterpiece of French classical architecture.  The ashes of Napoleon, rest under the dome.
**Notre Dame Cathedral — Impressive Gothic cathedral that was the inspiration for Victor Hugo's novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
**Sacré Coeur — A church perched on top of the highest point in Paris. Behind the church is the artists' area, in front are spectacular views of the whole city.
**Sainte Chapelle — Far more beautiful than the famous but dark Notre Dame.

As a delicious treat we have planned a tour of some of the chocolate makers in Paris, where you will get to see the ways they make CHOCOLATE....and taste it!

Day 2: France Miniature + Playmobil Theme Park!
This morning your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and you will depart for an exciting day of fun and learning!
First you will go to France Miniature, the biggest miniature park in Europe, in a map of France drawn on a 5-acres-ground.  130 monuments and places of interest, 150 remade landscapes, villages, castles, harbours, train stations and a huge railway line, 60 000 characters, 20 000 dwarf trees, rivers, mountains seas and oceans : all gathered together to offer all the family an unusual outing, an amusing and education trip!  Discovering the whole of France is great fun, on the air or upside down, we assure lots of laughs and emotions!
Your guide will  then take you to the Playmobil theme park!  This park is a paradise for those with younger children who like nothing better than to have the opportunity to race around 12 different themed play areas where Playmobil toys reign supreme!  They always say that the best way to find out if you like something is to try it, and that is exactly what will happen at Playmobil, where children can have fun and use their imagination in lots of different settings and environments, from knights to dolls houses, and trains to the rescue services such as the fire brigade and much, much more.

Day 3: Full Day Tour to Chantilly
This morning your private guide will take you for another fascinating day!  You will visit the Château de Chantilly, a historic château located in the town of Chantilly, France.
It is comprised of two attached buildings; the Grand Château, destroyed during the French Revolution and rebuilt in the 1870s, and the Petit Château which was built around 1560 for Anne de Montmorency. It is owned by the Institut de France, who keeps it open to the public. Beautiful park, interesting chateau/museum including lunch at the chateau on the terrace. There is also the fabulous live horse museum, a must see!  Chantilly is also host to one of the prestigious Parisian hippodromes. And this day is not complete without the decadent Chantilly Whipping Cream Demonstration, with tasting, of course!

Day 4: Scavenger Hunt at le Louvre + Behind-the-Scenes tour of the Eiffel Tower
Today your guide will take for a very special, interactive, and educational day in Paris for your family!
You will take part in a special Scavenger Hunt at Le Louvre: Paris Muse Clues: A Family Tour for Young Treasure Hunters!
This tour is designed for families who would like to visit the Louvre in a fun and meaningful way. Parents and children learn from the same works of art, but the younger set gets additional motivation through "Paris Muse Clues," an educational and interactive treasure hunt (parents are free to pitch in of course!) This hunt takes the family and their personal guide through a broad range of collections (Ancient Near East, Greek, Renaissance Italian, and French History Painting), asking specific and detailed questions about many of the Louvre's masterpieces. It is designed to give children an entertaining background to the history of art while sharpening their skills of observation. Their own answers to the clues lead them to discover an educational prize hidden somewhere under Pei's glass pyramid!

The you will have a sneak peak of Paris’ most well-known monument! A Behind-the-Scenes Guided Tour of the Eiffel Tower:
On this tour you will enjoy a very unique behind-the-scenes experience of the Eiffel Tower. Visit of bunker underneath the Champs de Mars previously dedicated to radio (telegraph equipments and staff) then on the machinery located at the foot inside the Eiffel tower and at last they will go up to the first floor and explore the technical skywalk. A very interesting visit!

"Please note:  These are sample itineraries!  All of our tours are tailor-made to the clients - we can organize tours for any amount of days, with any interest in mind, at any pace, anywhere in France."
