Dating from the beginning of the century, Hotel Royal Riviera, a Virtuoso Collection Property, stands on the seaside of the alluring peninsula of Cap Ferrat, between Monaco and Nice. Under the expert guidance of Grace Leo-Andrieu, the renowned hotelier behind

such properties as the Lancaster in Paris, the renovation program at the Royal Riviera has been completed in 2002, and the new villa accommodation, L'Orangerie, has opened last summer, offering guests privacy in an authentic Provencal setting.
The five-star 95-room Hotel Royal Riviera provides the intimacy of a private villa with the luxury and glamour of a palace. Member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the hotel has a gourmet restaurant with terrasse and panoramic view on the sea, 5 meeting and banqueting rooms, pool snack and poolside grill in high season. It has its own private beach, heated pool, fitness centre and wellness spa. Royal Riviera is just a 20 minutes from Monaco and Nice and 30 minutes from the Nice International airport. With the exception of a seven-week period when the hotel is closed during the winter (early December to mid-January), the hotel is open year-round.
77 rooms are located in the main building:
- 15 mountain view room are north oriented and overlook the hill of Beaulieu. These rooms have not been renovated. They are small (200 sp feet) with queen size bed. We definitely recommend these rooms for nany travelling with family or clients not looking for space or for view either.
- 55 superior & deluxe garden and seaview rooms. Rooms are spacious, with king size bed or twin beds. Connecting rooms available. Extra bed are available only in deluxe rooms.
- 4 corner junior suites have panoramic seaview, large bathroom with daylight. They are connecting with deluxe room for families of 4 or 5.
- One 1 bedroom suite is located in the main building with connecting room for making a 2 bedroom suite. The suite has a very large terrasse overlooking the main garden & the sea.

All garden view, seaview and suites have been refurbished in 2002, decorated in hues of olive or eggplant, which reflect the region's warm landscape. All rooms are sound-proofed and feature minibars, cable television, secure safe, individually controlled air conditioning and heating systems, marble bathrooms, and bathrobes.
The new villa accomodation l'Orangerie, just opened in August 2002, is positioned by the pool, in the heart of the newly designed Provencal garden that surrounds the hotel. The villa's 14 rooms and two suites each offer a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool, or a balcony with a partial sea view. Decorated in a palette of lavender and orange sherbet, rooms feature ample closet space, a complete minibar, 3 line phone, dataport line, secure safe, and cable television with built-in CD/DVD player. Guest baths will be outfitted with white Calacatta marble separate showers, and oversized bathtub.
