This beautiful property, accessed by a private road, is situated on a hillside south of La Garde Freinet. La Retirado is entered through a charming courtyard with orange trees and a fountain and is surrounded by numerous terraces for outdoor dining. The swimming pool (12m x 6m) has an electric cover and a cascade falling into a smaller pool, and the thatched pool house is equipped with a summer kitchen and a barbecue and dining area. The surrounding garden is planted with olive, citrus and cypress trees and benefits from the external sound system.

• Living room with a large period fireplace, 42” TV with VCR/DVD/CD and French doors opening onto terrace.
• Open-plan dining area and fully equipped kitchen with a seven-ring Godin oven.
• Master bedroom opening onto the pool terrace and garden, air-conditioning, dressing room and large en suite bathroom.
First Floor:
• Twin en suite bedroom with bath in the bedroom.
Accessed externally:
• Double and a twin/double bedroom both en suite.
Courtyard Annexe - 2 guests (accessed via courtyard):
• Large twin en suite bedroom.
• Games room with TV, DVD, pool table, dart board.

Staff
Obligatory maid service three hours a day, five days a week, payable locally. Resident guardian for the swimming pool, garden, and general maintenance.
