Château de Combecave is an exquisitely preserved 17th Century château, which sits on 23 hectares of woods, meadows and sunflower fields in the lush rolling countryside of the Midi-Pyrénées. The château is constructed of pale local limestone, with a roof of ancient terracotta tiles and is built round a courtyard containing an old stone well. Adjacent to the house is a freeform 12m x 4m swimming pool fed by a cascading fountain. The house has been completely redecorated to an extremely high degree and furnished throughout with family antiques, fine period furniture and tapestries giving a unique lived in, yet luxurious feel. All twin beds can be made into doubles and all bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.
