Lou Roucas is a restored 17th Century village house seemingly carved from the cliffs of Gordes, with exposed rock forming much of the back wall, beautifully offset by the cream plaster work and French Tavel stone used throughout. The property sits on three floors with two terraces to the east side of the house, one vaulted with a large wrought iron table and chairs ideal for evening drinks or dinner and a third on the west side with teak tables and chairs leading down to a shaded seating area, 4m x 8m swimming pool and compact private shaded garden. With magnificent views of the Luberon Mountains from every window and each of its many terraces, this is an ideal base in Gordes close to the other villages of the Luberon.

Lou Roucas Accommodation

Middle Level:
• Principal living area with an open fire, DVD, satellite TV and CD, down-filled sofas, dining table and open-plan Provenal kitchen leading to breakfast terrace.
Lower Level:
• Restored stone staircase leads down to the swimming pool and shaded garden with barbecue.
• Bunk bedroom.
• Queen-sized bedroom sharing a shower room.
Top Level:
• Master king-sized bedroom with an open-plan bathroom, ceiling fan, and additional mezzanine sleeping area.
• Vaulted terrace with dining area.

Staff
Midweek linen change and cleaning on Saturday. Additional maid service, cook and babysitting on request.

Shops and restaurants in Gordes five mins walk or 1km, golf course 18kms, Avignon 40kms, Marseille airport 72kms.
