The Relais feels warm and welcoming as it is beautifully decorated and furnished, combining country and fine antiques, botanical prints, bright fabrics, comfortable chairs and sofas, and modern amenities. The airy ground floor living spaces give the house an expansive, flowing feel. Choose from three sitting rooms depending on your mood or the season. Fireplaces make the off-season even merrier. Everyone will appreciate the self-contained teenagers' quarters with two bedrooms, shower room and lounge. The standard of service at the Relais is very high. The all-day housekeeper raises the "home cooking" bar several notches. She lays out breakfast and you may use her services as you please 8 hours a day, 6 days a week provided for your stay. Extra hours are also available for a consideration, paid locally. Beds & Baths Sleeps up to 8 adults and 4 young people (or 10 adults) in 6 bedrooms. Ground floor: Bedroom 1 (King, 72") with en suite bathroom (tub/shower); bedroom 2 (King, 72") with tub, sink in room & adjacent w.c. Second floor: bedroom 3 (Twins, 36") & en suite bathroom (tub); bedroom 4 (Twins, 32", can be configured as Queen) with en suite bathroom (tub). Third floor: Air-conditioned teenagers' suite: bedrooms 5 & 6 (each with Twins, 36") share a bathroom (shower) & sitting area. Living Space Various living & sitting rooms, some with fireplaces. Dining room. Outdoors 12 acres of well-maintained grounds, courtyard, pool (36' x 18'), terraces with outdoor dining, new hard surface tennis court, walking paths.
