A leisurely tour through some of Europe's most elegant and beautiful cities. Begin with France and Italy's most beloved cities and beaches, and continue to regal Vienna, scenic Lucerne, lovely Rhineland and friendly Amsterdam.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight transatlantic flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) Time to relax after check-in to your hotel.

Day 3 - London at leisure Today is at leisure to explore the city. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights) A warm welcome from our Tour Director as we drive to Dover and view the White Cliffs. From here a short Channel crossing takes us to Calais in France and on to the elegant capital, Paris. (Continential breakfast)

Day 5 - Paris sightseeing and at leisure Our day begins with a guided sightseeing tour which includes views of the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. Afterwards there is time at leisure perhaps to take an optional excursion to the Louvre Museum. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Lyon We drive through the Forest of Fontainebleau and the wine-growing region of Burgundy. Then follow the valley of the River Saone until it joins the Rhone at Lyon and continue along the fertile Rhone valley to Avignon, where we see the Palace of the Popes and the old bridge. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Avigon - Barcelona (2 nights) This morning we head south and follow the coast westwards. We travel close to the Camargue and the Pyrenees as we cross the Spanish border and continue to vibrant Barcelona. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Barcelona sightseeing & at leisure Our sightseeing tour with a local guide includes Christopher Columbus’ statue and the Paseo de Gracia. Later, we have time at leisure to explore. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 9 - Barcelona – Nice (2 nights) We return to the South of France today and to the Cote d’Azur where we stay in the principal town, Nice. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 10 - Nice and Monte Carlo Enjoy a full day to relax on the beach or wander into the old town. Later, we are off on an included excursion to Monte Carlo and can try out our luck at one of the casinos! (Buffet breakfast)
Day 11 - Nice - Florence We cross the Italian border, passing Genoa, Columbus’ birthplace, and drive on to Pisa with its famous Leaning Tower. Next on to Florence to enjoy a scenic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Later, there is time to see the cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Signoria Square and Santa Croce. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 12 - Florence - Rome (2 nights) We drive through the Chianti vineyards and pass by the hilltop towns of Umbria, like Orte and Orvieto. Then we follow the Tiber valley to the Eternal City, Rome. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Rome has many historical treasures. Our sightseeing tour shows us the main sights from views of the Forum and mighty Colosseum to St. Peter’s in the Vatican. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 14 - Rome – Venice (2 nights) Today we take a scenic drive across the forested Apennine Mountains before we reach the flat plains of the Po River valley. Later we reach the magical city of Venice. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 15 - Venice orientation Today, as we cruise along the criss-crossing canals, we see vivid reminders of medieval maritime power and wealth. At leisure why not venture out to the lagoon’s islands. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 16 - Venice – Vienna (2 nights) This morning we travel into the Carnic Alps to the Austrian border and the Carinthian Lake District. Eventually, the Vienna Woods give way to the Danube Plains and imperial Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 17 - Vienna sightseeing Our sightseeing tour of the city shows us the Opera, Imperial Boulevards, the Hofburg and the Parliament. Then time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 18 - Vienna – Innsbruck We drive via the Salzkammergut to Salzburg. Here an orientation reveals places associated with The Sound of Music and Salzburg’s famous son, Mozart. Next on to Innsbruck. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 19 - Innsbruck – Lucerne (2 nights) The Golden Roof and Hofburg Palace feature on our Innsbruck orientation tour. Then we drive west to Vaduz, capital of the small Principality of Liechtenstein. Later, a scenic drive through Switzerland brings us to pretty Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 20 - Lucerne orientation First an orientation shows us the medieval old town, poignant Lion Monument and cathedral. Then maybe join an optional tour to ascend one of the nearby surrounding mountains. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 21 - Lucerne – Rhineland Today we travel to Schaffhausen to view the Rhine Falls. Then we drive into Germany, and past Lake Titisee in the heart of the Black Forest and on to the university town of Heidelberg before continuing to our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: NH Mannheim-Viernheim
Day 22 - Rhineland – Amsterdam We enjoy a scenic Rhine cruise today passing castles and vineyards. Then on to Cologne where we admire its cathedral, before heading to friendly Amsterdam. (Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: Ibis Schiphol
Day 23 - Amsterdam – London We drive to Calais to board our ferry back to Dover and then return to London. (Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: Jurys Inn Islington
Day 24 - London - USA Bid farewell to your new friends before your return flight to the USA. (Buffet breakfast)
