Athens Shopping Athens, Greece - The shopping hubs
Shopping in Athens its a paradise for both women and men ,cheap prices and high quality trade marks in fancy boutiques for fashion clothing and shoes.

Plaka Plaka is the touristiest shopping area, proposing dozens of souvenir shops and some good gold and silver jewellers. It is the Paradise of the Greek art shops, name it and you have it all the miniature replicas of the National Archaeological Museum statues of Athena, Zeus, ancient helmets, small puppets of the Greek men and women in there national dress traditional instruments like bouzouki (remember Zorba the Greek) and lots of other things that many of them are really interesting .
The prices there are quite reasonable.
Monastiraki and Pandrossou Street The narrow streets around Avissynias Square are filled with small shops selling a huge variety of goods. These range from all kind of stuffs such as label shoes, hand made leather shoes, clothes, leathers, furniture, jewellery, CDs, traditional instruments and more.
Monastiraki is the place where the Sunday morning flea Market offers a huge quantity of diverse items
Across Monastiraki Square is another row of shops on Pandrossou Street.These are more tourist-oriented and sell a huge variety of souvenirs, artefacts, clothes, jewels, many fur and carpets shops.

Ermou The most famous pedestrian street leading from Syndagma square to Monastiraki. The whole street offers clothes, shoes and house furniture shops.
It is the biggest commercial street in Athens, Greece. Therefore it attracts hundreds of clients every day and never quite, always overcrowded.
On the top of the street, line up luxurious famous label shops, which are, of course, really expensive.
Athens Street This street leads from Omonia Square to Monastiraki. The Fish market is my favorite part. Wear shoes. The ground is kind of wet and fishy. Wander around and look at all the fish, some fresh, some frozen, and listen to the voices of the merchants as they call out their prices.
The weirdest animals are found in the meat section closest to Omonia, though this depends on the season.
All the products there are fresh and of very good quality.
Little shops around the two Markets are selling excellent nuts, herbs, spices, olives, honey and coffee.

Kolonaki The shops in Kolonaki are some of the most stylish and expensive shops in Athens, Greece. The neighborhood is full of cafes and expensive shops, fancy restaurants and fancy people and shopping in this area is like shopping in the finest areas of New York or Paris.
It is also an area full of art galleries,churches, antique and furniture shops.
Patission Street Patission Street is huge and incredibly long street is boarding with clothes, shoes, gifts and accessories shops.
The best place to rest after a shopping spree is in any one of the numerous cafes and taverns of the Fokionos Negri pedestrian zone in Kypseli.
Kifissia Kifissia The northern suburb of Kifissia is the destination of choice for the wealthy. There are clothes, shoes and accessories shops of luxury and famous designers' label.
Glyfada Third classy and luxurious shopping area of Athens, Glyfada is in the south of Athens's centre.
It is a seaside neighborhood proposing a lot of luxurious and expensive shops of all kind.
Panepistimiou and Stadiou Streets These two streets connect Syntagma Square with Omonia Square. As well as shops and restaurants, they feature some of the city's most beautiful 19th-century buildings. There are luxurious gold jeweleries from Greek designers such as Ilias Lalaounis, Kessaris and Bvlgaris.
