Beginning the day with breakfast from the Deck Restaurant's rich buffet, watch the fishing boats hauling in their catch of the day. A few hours later this fresh fish is served on the shaded terraces of the Yacht Club, where our chef will prepare it to your liking.
On select evenings, the more intimate «Old Mill» restaurant offers an astonishingly fine menu to combine with our carefully chosen Greek and French wines. Recently refurbished, the «Old Mill» promises nothing less than excellence.
Sports
The sandy beach is relaxing, but a plethora of sea sports is also available: Yanni and his crew of cordial multilingual instructors will improve your water skiing, windsurfing and SCUBA diving, or take you for a day's sailing on their lovely yacht.
The resident tennis instructor can train you or give you a match on the two green-set courts.
A golf course is nearby at Porto Elounda de luxe resort. It is the only one on the island of Crete and provides an excellent environment for learning the game and for training. The course is a 9-hole par-3, yet the multiple tee design gives every hole two playing options, thus giving the impression of an 18-hole course. The hole lengths range between 55 and 125 meters.
The Club House is set amidst a picturesque Cretan square and offers a pro-shop and the Porto Elounda Golf Academy, where the instructor John Grundy, PGA improves every aspect of your game on the driving range, the putting green and the course itself. The training facility is just ideal for beginners, and for those who need to improve aspects of their game like their short play.
