Cornell Bell Tower - The most easily recognized landmark of Cornell University also known as McGraw Tower.
Herbert F. Johnson Museum Of Art - Even if you are not interested in art this place is a must since it gives a great view of Ithaca. Just go in take the elevator to the fifth floor and look out the windows for panoramic views of Cornell, Ithaca, and Cayuga Lake.
Sapsucker Woods - The Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary, home to the world-famous Cornell Lab of Ornithology, has 4.2 miles of trails winding through woodland and over swamps and ponds.
Sunset Point - This is a small park near Cornell that looks out over Cayuga lake and Ithaca. For a nice treat bring a picnic dinner and have a picnic while watching the sunset.
Corning Glass Museum - Corning is about 45 minutes away and is world famous for the blown glass factory and showroom. The factory now provides a HOT GLASS SHOW where you can watch a live, narrated demonstration of glassblowing techniques.
