Cyclades Islands

The Cyclades are the most popular of all the islands and make ideal holiday destination for visitors of the varied tastes.

The Cyclades are famous for their extraordinary weather, the beauty of the beaches, traditions, the landscape and the charm of the architecture.

The Cyclades glow with bare sunbaked rocks, spectacular sunsets and partying till the sun wakes up. It’s a group of islands unique in its kind in the world, because nowhere else will one find such a powerful and passionate blend of light, sea, wind, earth and sky, the distant past and the colorful present!

With whitewashed sugar cube houses, potted geraniums and golden beaches, they’re more than a match for the glossiest island-holiday brochures.

When to Go:  The Cyclades have a typically Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and milder winters. The Cycladic islands enjoy a Mediterranean climate, with an average temperature for the year of 18 – 19 oC.

The October-February off-season period can be a great time to visit more popular islands such as Mykonos, as they’re completely different places without the crowds.
The Villages

The traditional architecture of the villages of the group of islands are world known. They are composing a cliche of Greece: small white cubic houses with blue doors and windows and bougainvillea in narrow pedestrians alleys..
