On the north shore of Oahu, the windward side, you’ll see the world’s most renowned surfing spots, and some of the biggest surf on the globe. In the winter, pro surfers flock to the north shore from all over the world to challenge the big waves in these famous surfing hot spots like, the Pipeline, Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach.

Maui is the most popular vacation island in Hawaii, and in the world, with just about anything a person could dream of. Historical Lahaina, the harbor, boating, fishing, diving, shopping. Kaanapali Beach, and luxury resorts. Haleakala, the road to heavenly Hana, biking, hiking, O’heo Gulch, frequently referred to as the Seven Sacred Pools, whale watching, zip-lining, hiking mystical valleys, or the beautiful Haleakala National Park, swimming with the whales and dolphins, scuba diving and snorkeling, big game fishing.

Thousands of awesome humpback whales show up in the Hawaiian Islands between November and May to have their calves, and to mate. Whale watching is a favorite pastime of visitors, especially on Maui from Lahaina.

Hanalei Bay is one of the most scenic attractions in the islands, with a gorgeous beach, easy surfing and snorkeling. The weather in Hawaii varies from place to place, according to the elevation, and which side of the island you are on. In the winter from November 20th to January 15th the temperature varies from 77 to 80 degrees. In the summer, from June 20th to October 5th it can get rather hot on the lee sides of the islands, up to 92 degrees. Always carry along ample sun-block.
