Don the Beachcomber Located right on the water’s edge, Don the Beachcomber signature restaurant is the newest addition to the Royal Kona Resort serving breakfast and dinner daily. Guests dine in a beautiful oceanfront, open-air setting while savoring samples of delicious Pacific Rim Fusion cuisine with a unique Island flair that promises to satisfy any appetite. Other exceptional menu items include Prime Rib and Seafood selections and our signature Huli Huli chicken. Guests can watch their food as its being prepared with the finest in fresh, local ingredients in the new exhibition show kitchen. Don the Beachcomber boasts one of Kona's finest breakfast buffets including delicious Belgian waffles and cooked-to-order omelets. Don's Mai Tai Bar The Royal Kona Resort’s unique open-air Don's Mai Tai Bar features Hawaiian specialty drinks including the Original Mai Tai and a host of other Mai Tai creations in Kona's most spectacular location right on the waters of Kailua Bay. Big screen television, dancing, and entertainment scheduled weekly. Lunch is also served daily.
Royal Kona Resort Luau A breathtaking backdrop of a vibrant Hawaiian sky displays the Kona Coast's best sunsets and provides a spectacular background for the festive Lava, Legends and Legacies Polynesian Luau. Held on select evenings throughout the week in the Coconut Grove themed area, guests will enjoy the extraordinary energy and appeal of this dynamic and popular Polynesian show. Kailua-Kona's only true oceanfront Luau features an evening of feasting on authentic island cuisine while experiencing a memorable journey through the music and dances of the South Pacific’s legends and lore.
