The Royal Kona Resort offers standard guestrooms in the Bay Tower and newly refurbished guestrooms in the Alii and Lagoon Towers.

Bay Tower Rooms
Our comfortably appointed standard guestrooms are located in the Bay Tower. The Bay Tower is the north building closest to the village of Kailua-Kona and houses the massage and spa center.

Each guestroom offers 390 square feet and each corner king room offers 450 square feet of living space.

Alii and Lagoon Tower Rooms
The beautifully re-modeled guestrooms in the Alii and Lagoon Towers feature new granite countertops, expanded marble showers with new fixtures, upgraded wet bars, new tile flooring and carpeting throughout, new furniture including plush bedding and new lighting fixtures.

The open-air lobby, Front Desk, Don the Beachcomber signature restaurant, Don's Mai Tai Bar, sundry shop and multi-level swimming pool are located in the Alii Tower. The Lagoon Tower is the south building located next to the private beach and saltwater lagoon. Located in the Lagoon Tower are the beauty salon and self-service laundry room.
