ResortQuest Kauai Beach General Information
What to expect: This oceanfront Kauai resort is set amid a large coconut grove in an area of shopping villages and visitor attractions. The 311-room resort also includes a day spa, restaurant and lounge with live entertainment, swimming pool, and spa tub.
Amenity highlights: Benches along the beach are popular spots for sunset-watching and seasonal whale-watching. A walking/jogging path runs parallel to the beach, although the beach is not a recommended swimming beach due to unpredictable currents. Other on-site amenities include a pool with ocean views and a surrounding sundeck with spa tub.
Insider tip: The Royal Coconut Grove is an eight-mile strip of sandy beaches, unsurpassed ocean views, and low-key activity. Long ago, the Wailua River, fed by rainfall on Mt. Waialeale, the wettest spot on earth, provided abundant water for ancient Hawaiians to cultivate crops in this area. As a result, the coast is home to many archeological sites.

Cooks Landing - This open-air lounge overlooks the pool and beach. Nightly Hawaiian entertainment; TV showcases sporting events in lounge area.
Luau - Acclaimed luau featuring traditional imu (pit-steamed pig). Takes place at the “Halau” on hotel grounds (pig is prepared in morning; guests can watch). Following the feast, the Polynesian Revue provides a musical journey of the South Pacific islands ending up in Samoa via the fire dance. The Hiva Pasefika is performed every night except Monday.
