At the Lodge at Koele, Terrace offers a casual, refined atmosphere with stunning views of the gardens and Reflecting Pond. Contemporary American cuisine with traditional Hawaiian elements are served. Lounges

Hale Ahe Ahe Lounge

Mingle and make new friends at the Hale Ahe Ahe Lounge, an open-air sports bar commanding dramatic views of the ocean. Guests can enjoy a game of pool in the Lounge's poolroom or a variety of table games in the games room, or they can simply relax and watch their favourite sports programme on the 46-inch (116-centimetre) LCD television. The Lounge serves a variety of specialty cocktails and features live entertainment nightly. Seats 46.

Tea Room Bar

In the refined setting of the Tea Room Bar, creative cocktails and a wide selection of drinks will warm you on a chilly night in the highlands, along with a light menu. A sampling of favourites includes Ahi Sashimi Rose; Potted Crab and Artichoke Spread with warm garlic bread; and Mini Beef Burgers. Seats 25.

Great Hall

Every evening, you can relax to the tunes of Hawaii or Broadway favourites, played by local musicians. Every afternoon, you can enjoy afternoon tea or order from the special hot chocolate menu. A menu of pupus (appetisers), desserts, specialty cocktails and coffees is available. Seats 48.

Trophy Room

In the Trophy Room at The Lodge at Koele, guests can enjoy a game of pool, shuffleboard, foosball or a variety of other table games, or simply relax and watch a favourite sports programme on the 46-inch (116-centimetre) LCD television. Internet-accessible computers are available. The menu includes drinks and snacks.

In-Room Dining

Four Seasons In-Room Dining is a fine-dining experience within the comfort and convenience of your guest room or suite. It is ideal for time-zone-hopping travellers, impromptu meetings or simply for quiet, private dining. Choose from an extensive menu, day or night.

Our extensive menu of rejuvenating and restorative treatments includes massages, facials, pedicures and manicures, as well as contemporary services such as ti-leaf wraps and seaweed body masks. The facility includes a total of 11 treatment rooms, including red cedar dry heat saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms and rainforest showers.

Massages are available to guests 12 years of age or older. Guests between the ages of 12 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the treatment. For other spa treatments, guests under 16 years of age require parental approval or presence during the treatment.

Fitness facilities

Warm up for a golf game at the Fitness Center, featuring a new Movement Studio and state-of-the-art gym. Each piece of the complete range of cardiovascular equipment has a 15-inch (38-centimetre) LCD television with personal headset and commands spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Personalised health and fitness consultation and instruction are also available on request.

The 800-square foot (74-square metre) Movement Studio is furnished with custom wood flooring specially engineered for optimal stability and shock absorption.

The Fitness Center, including the Movement Studio, is available to guests 12 years and older.

Golf

The Challenge at Manele
High above the crashing surf of Hulopo'e Bay, The Challenge at Manele is an outstanding course that more than lives up to its name. Built on lava outcroppings, the course features three holes on cliffs which use the Pacific Ocean as a water hazard. The five-tee concept challenges the best golfers – tee shots over natural gorges and ravines must be precise.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this dramatic, unspoiled natural terrain is a stunning backdrop, and every hole offers majestic ocean views. During the winter, you may even catch spectacular sightings of whales right from the fairways.
