Four Seasons Resort Maui  What to expect: Upon check-in, guests are greeted with a fragrant fresh flower lei and a cool towel. The two-story, open-air lobby faces the ocean and includes three restaurants, a casual bar, a spa, and health club wrapped around a courtyard with fountains, swimming pools, and spa tubs. By day, couples and families stake out prime poolside and white-sand beach spots. At night, live piano, ukulele, violin, and guitar music at the dining spots fills the air. Amenity highlights: Cabanas with swimming pool- or ocean-facing lounge chairs include food and beverage service, plus complimentary cool towels, bottled water, and Evian spritzes. The beach concierge offers snorkeling gear at no additional charge. Individual and couples’ massage treatments are offered in three private thatched-roof huts by the beach. Spago restaurant serves Wolfgang Puck’s signature cuisine, and a 21,000-square-foot spa provides a full range of exercise options and relaxation treatments. Insider tip: By notifying pool or beach attendants that they are going to swim, the beach, their room, etc., guests keep their ocean- or poolside chaise lounges or cabanas for up to 20 minutes. They are reissued to new guests only if a different guest specifically requests the location that has been vacated for more than 20 minutes. In the case where a guest vacates a location to enjoy lunch in a hotel restaurant, the location will be held for up to two hours. Room service menu items can be delivered to a lounge chair on the beach or a seat in the lobby. Four Seasons Resort Maui Property amenities The Four Seasons concierge can recommend restaurants and arrange tee times or sightseeing, make reservations, and provide driving directions. Guests have access to a 24-hour self-service business center which has two computers with high-speed Internet access and printers. Pets receive their own food bowl and dogs receive chew bones. The complimentary Kids for all Seasons program for children age 5-12 includes arts, crafts, sports, and movies daily. Special evening events, including dinner, are available for an extra fee.
Four Seasons Resort Maui Dining  Spago - Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s California cuisine incorporates local Hawaiian seafood and produce into a dinner menu that changes daily. Located on the hotel’s upper lobby level, the open-air dining room features colorful murals of giant sea anemone on the walls and ceiling. The concierge can assist in reserving a table at just the right location and time to catch the sunset. Pacific Grill - This open-air restaurant on the north side of the swimming pool is on the lower lobby level. At breakfast, an à la carte menu is offered in addition to hot and cold breakfast buffets. On Friday nights the restaurant serves a full seafood dinner buffet. At other times, the buffet is hidden from lobby view by bamboo screens and a luncheon and dinner menu emphasizing fresh local seafood is served. Ferraro’s - Offering Italian-influenced cuisine in an open-air, oceanfront setting, this bar and restaurant serves lunch and dinner. The open kitchen includes a wood-burning oven. The menu includes pizzas and salads. At dinner, a violin and guitar duo perform. The Lobby Lounge - Located on the upper lobby level, this cocktail lounge also serves smoothies and pupus (Hawaiian appetizers). Live piano jazz is performed nightly. For those with a heartier appetite, room service items can be ordered and delivered here.
Recreation  Snorkel gear is complimentary for the first hour each day. Rental fees are $5.00 per hour (after the first hour); or $20 per day. Boogie boarding equipment can be borrowed from the beach concierge, and beginning scuba diving practice is taught in the swimming pool each morning. A second oceanfront dip pool is reserved for children with adults. On-site sport facilities also include two lighted tennis courts, a putting green, half-court basketball, and a croquet lawn. Complimentary classes such as outrigger canoeing, yoga, aqua fitness, spinning, cardio-kickboxing, mat Pilates, hula, and lei-making are offered throughout the year. The game room, open from early morning to late night, has a big screen cable TV, pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, and video games. Outdoor cardio equipment, including four elliptical machines, nine treadmills, two recumbent bikes, and five stairclimbers, each with private cable TV and headphones, is accessible 24 hours daily.
