In addition to swimming and snorkeling at the adjacent beach, recreation options include 36 holes of championship golf, tennis (surcharge), a fitness center, and an outdoor splash pool with children's wading pool and spa tub. A supervised children's program (surcharge) provides half- and full-day activities.
Prince Court restaurant serves contemporary island fare nightly, Hakone offers sushi and other Japanese fare, Café Kiowai provides breakfast on a garden terrace, and Makena Clubhouse is a casual spot for island lunch or sunset cocktails. Other options include a coffee shop and a lounge featuring live Hawaiian entertainment.

Prince Court - With walls of windows, this restaurant specializes in contemporary island cuisine. A seasonal dinner menu emphasizes fresh and local ingredients. Open for nightly dinner, Friday seafood-and-prime-rib buffet, and Sunday champagne brunch. Hakone - A tranquil sushi bar serving traditional Japanese cuisine with island flavors. Open for dinner nightly and Monday buffets.
Café Kiowai - Serving buffet and à la carte breakfast--including signature Eggs Benedict--on a glass-sheltered terrace with garden views. Makena Clubhouse - Overlooking the 10th hole of the Makena South Golf Course, the clubhouse is a casual spot for island lunch or pupus and drinks during sunset hours. Molokini Lounge - Serving tropical drinks and pupus in the evening, this sunset terrace features live island entertainment with hula music.
