What to expect: A grand, skylit lobby with an outrigger canoe on display leads to balustrades with views of an open-air restaurant, waterfall gardens surrounding a pool area, and the ocean beyond. Adjacent to a snorkeling beach, the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort is across from the upscale Shops at Wailea and within two miles of the Wailea Golf Club.

Amenity highlights: Set on 15 tropically landscaped acres, the resort offers a freeform splash pool with two spa tubs and poolside cabanas (surcharge). Dining options include a casual buffet restaurant, a poolside terrace café, and a sunset lounge. Twice-weekly oceanside luaus (surcharge) feature hula and Samoan fire-knife dancing along with a Polynesian buffet.

Insider tip: Snorkeling and scuba-diving trips (surcharge) are available to the nearby islet of Molokini, renowned for the water clarity within its crescent.

Three championship golf courses and 11 tennis courts (three lighted) are five minutes away via complimentary shuttle. But the resort’s most popular activities are snorkeling in and around the coral reef in front of the hotel, and viewing the phenomenal variety of aquatic life.

Adjacent to Mokapu Beach and within the expansive Wailea Resort, this 11-acre hotel is within two miles of Wailea's shops, golf, and tennis. Downtown Kihei is three miles away.
On-site recreation includes an outdoor splash pool with two spa tubs, a fitness center, table tennis, and shuffleboard. Camp Wailea (surcharge) provides supervised programs for children ages 5–12.

Palm Court serves buffet and à la carte breakfast and dinner daily, light fare is available poolside at Maui Onion, and the Sunset Terrace offers coffee and pastries in the morning and live Hawaiian music and pupus in the evening. Traditional Polynesian luaus are held oceanside twice a week (surcharge).

Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort has 12,700 square feet of meeting and event space, including a ballroom for 400 guests. A business center is open weekdays (surcharge), and a 24-hour kiosk provides high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and other public areas (surcharge).

Palm Court - Facing the ocean, this indoor/outdoor venue serves buffet and à la carte breakfast and dinner. Evening fare includes fresh island fish and local ingredients.

Maui Onion - Located poolside under a trellis with dangling tropical flowers, this casual terrace restaurant serves salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and crispy Maui onion rings. Open from late morning until late afternoon.

Sunset Terrace - In the morning, this indoor/outdoor lobby area provides gourmet coffee drinks and freshly baked pastries. Around sunset, it becomes a romantic lounge with live Hawaiian music, tropical drinks, and island-style pupus.

Overview - Spread over seven floors and three wings, Renaissance Wailea's 345 air-conditioned guestrooms have furnished lanais and island decor with louvered shutters and botanical prints.
Amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), cable TVs with premium channels and VCRs, compact refrigerators, coffeemakers, and in-room safes. Complimentary newspapers are delivered on weekdays.

Bathrooms have scales, bathrobes, shower/tub combinations, and Lather toiletries.
