Royal Lahaina Resort Dining  Royal Ocean Terrace - Wicker furniture, ceiling fans, and skylights create a gracious, island-style setting for selecting from a dinner menu that specializes in local seafood. A band plays nightly.
The Royal Scoop - This popular spot serves pastries and coffee in the mornings and pizza, sandwiches, and ice cream until well after dark. Made in the Shade - Next to the main pool, this is where light fare is prepared for guests sunning by the pool and on the beach. Room service is available during limited hours. Royal Lahaina Resort Policies An optional resort fee of $12 per room per night is charged at the hotel upon check-out. Guests choosing to pay the resort fee receive:
Extra person charges may apply depending on hotel policy. There are no room charges for children 17 and younger occupying the same room as their parents. Rollaways and cribs may be available and should be requested at the time of booking; fees may apply. Photo identification and credit card or cash deposit are required upon check-in for incidental charges. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in.
Property amenities The Royal Lahaina is adjacent to two championship golf courses; the resort itself boasts two oceanfront pools and a beach activity center for complimentary daily scuba lessons. Guests enjoy convenient access and transportation to Lahaina Town, a 15-minute drive away. Parking is $10 a day with in/out privileges unless an optional resort fee is paid (see Policies section below). All fees subject to change without notice. Recreation  Snorkel sets, boogie boards, aqua eyes (boogie boards with an inset face mask), scuba gear, kayaks, and inflated rafts can be rented on Kaanapali Beach.
From the beach, catamarans offer whale-watching trips during the winter and snorkeling and scuba excursions as well as dinner cruises year-round. Two public, tournament-grade golf courses lie across the street from the resort, and there are three other courses at Kapalua 7 miles north. The resort contains a large Tennis Ranch, including a stadium court for tournaments. West Maui, either at the Royal Lahaina Resort or within the Kaanapali community, features skydiving, parasailing, helicopter/airplane sightseeing, nature/wildlife tours, and submarine excursions.
