Depart from the Kahului Harbor and tour through sugar cane fields as you head directly to the "Haleakala visitors center". This brief stop will be followed by a gorgeous drive in your air-conditioned vehicle up to the summit. At 10,023 feet, Haleakala is the world's largest dormant volcano.
