Highlights of Mahé
This full day tour is an excellent introduction to the Seychelles.

The day begins with a drive to Victoria for a visit. You will have the opportunity to shop at your leisure for souvenirs at its curio stalls or explore the colourful market of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and spices.

From Victoria, travel to the Botanical Gardens to visit the endemic flora and fauna, coco de mer palms and the colony of giant land tortoises and fruit bats.

After the Botanical Gardens travel over the mountains via the Sans Souci road which runs through the Morne Seychellois National Park. A stop is made at the Mission Lodge, site of one of the first slave settlements in Seychelles. Here there are spectacular views over the park and the chance of seeing some of the rare Seychelles birds such as the White-tailed Tropicbird.

Continue along the road past acres of green tea shrubs nestled on the slopes of Morne Blanc mountain on your way to the Tea Factory. Local tea is available for purchase here.

From the Tea Factory continue towards the southern part of the island while taking in spectacular views of unspoilt coves, picture postcard beaches and the turquoise Seychelles sea.

Stop off for a traditional Creole lunch at one of Mahé's best restaurants before continuing along to the Craft Village where you will see local craftsmen at work making clothes and souvenirs. Visit the Coconut House within the grounds of the Craft Village where you can view or buy artifacts made of coconut and its fibre before returning to your hotel.

Full Day; includes lunch and guide

Ste. Anne Marine National Park
This park was designated as a protected area in 1973 and was the first marine national park in the Indian Ocean. It includes 6 islands off the coast of Mahé, a short journey from Victoria.

Fishing and collecting of shells or corals is forbidden and the park ranger is based on Ste. Anne island. The calm, clear waters are perfect for snorkelling. Knowledgeable guides escort all tours providing a fascinating insight into the natural history of the reefs.

The day starts from the Marine Charter with the journey by boat out to the Marine National Park. Transfer to the subsea viewer for a fish-eye view of the coral reefs followed by snorkelling.

Lunch will always include tuna steaks, and other Creole delicacies. In the afternoon there is plenty of time for swimming, more snorkelling or simply exploring the islands.

Depending on which tour operator you book through, you will visit one of these three islands - Cerf, Round or Moyenne.

Full Day; includes transfers, lunch and guide

Starlight Serenade (Evening cruise and Round island)
Sunset to starlight are captured on this wonderful evening tour. Cruise out of Victoria Harbour in the late afternoon and glide past the coast of north Mahé towards Beau Vallon Beach to the tune of guitars and romantic Creole songs.

Drinks are served with the first colours of the setting sun before sailing towards Round island in the Marine National Park. Disembark on the island to a welcome of moutia drums followed by an evening of Creole barbecue, music and sega dancing.

Includes transfers, complimentary welcome drink, dinner and guide

A Tale of Two Islands (Praslin and La Digue)
This tour features the unique attractions of Praslin and the extremely beautiful La Digue, probably the most photographed island in Seychelles.

Praslin is a favourite among visitors for its natural beauty, romance and charm as well as its superb beaches. Excursions here include guided tours of the Valleé de Mai, home of the coco-de-mer palms with the evocative pelvis-shaped double nuts and the rare Black Parrot.

La Digue is a tranquil island of primitive charm where transport is mainly by ox-cart or bicycles. This little island is home to probably the most photographed beach in the world, Anse Source d'Argent, star of Bacardi and Bounty ads as well as the elusive and endemic Paradise Flycatcher.

At L' Union Estate on La Digue, you can see coconuts being turned into copra and then to oil, vanilla being cured in the sun, giant tortoises and a majestic Plantation House.

Full Day; this tour can be done by air or boat, includes flights, transfers, entrance fee to the Valleé de Mai, lunch and guide.

The Photographers Choice (La Digue)
La Digue must be the most photographed of all the Seychelles' islands - visitors and film crews return there year after year.

The natural beauty, tranquillity and charm of its inhabitants make La Digue a very special island. The short crossing by schooner from Praslin is followed by a short journey by ox-cart to La Digue Lodge. Then it is on to L'Union Estate with its majestic colonial house, the setting for the last in the series of "Emmanuelle" films!

At L'Union Estate watch coconuts being processed into copra and oil and find out how vanilla is cured for export. Admire the giant tortoises and one of Seychelles? largest granite boulders.

There is a chance for swimming at Anse Source d Argent, star of Bacardi ads, before returning to the Lodge for lunch and the afternoon at leisure.

Full Day; includes transfers, lunch and guide

Romancing the Palms (Praslin)
Praslin is the second largest island in the Seychelles and is home to the Valleé de Mai, a World Heritage Site. This unique forest is home to the many species of rare, endemic palms. The best known, the coco-de-mer, bears the curious nut which resembles the female pelvis.

The rare and unique Black Parrot also haunts the Valleé de Mai feeding on the abundant fruits which grow in the forest.

Classic palm fringed beaches and small unspoilt villages almost make Mahé seem busy! It is worth spending the whole day exploring Praslin, if only to lie on two of Seychelles most beautiful beaches, Anse Lazio and Cote d' Or.

Full Day; includes flights, transfers, entrance fee to the Valleé de Mai, lunch and guide

The Garden of Eden (Valleé de Mai)
This tour is dedicated to the World heritage site of rare palms in the Valleé de Mai. The collection of endemic plants include the legendary coco-de-mer palm.

Local folklore has it that, at sundown, the male trees lean over the female trees and no human spectator ever lives to tell the tale of what follows. The result of this nocturnal activity is the curious double nut that resembles the female pelvis.

Keen sighted visitors may also spot the endemic Black Parrot.

Duration 1½ hours; include transfers, entrance to Valleé de Mai and guide

The Warbler (Cousin island)
Over 20 years ago the rich and unique bird life on this island convinced naturalists that Cousin should be preserved for posterity. Today this island is in the care of the International Council for Bird Preservation.

The island is the home of the Seychelles Brush warbler which was in danger of extinction and is one of only three islands where the Seychelles Fody is found. In addition, there are an estimated quarter of a million seabirds breeding each year and the island has important nesting beaches for turtles.

Access to Cousin is by boat from Praslin and there is a guided tour of the bird sanctuary.

Half Day; includes transfers, landing fees and guide

Noddies and Sooties (Aride island)
Aride is one of the most striking of the granitic islands in Seychelles. The views from the sheer escarpments are really breathtaking and the bird colonies spectacular. Good shoes and a bottle of water are essential for this tour? but any discomfort is worth it!

This island has the largest colonies of Noddy and Sooty terns of any granitic island in the Seychelles group. Roseate Terns and Red-Tailed tropic birds are the two most exciting birds here. Take your camera to photograph baby tropic-birds in their nests and the rare Wright?s Gardenia, found nowhere else on earth.

A guided tour of the island is followed by a barbecue lunch by the beach and there is plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling.

Full Day; includes transfers, landing fees, lunch, soft drinks and guide

Blue Safari (Cousin, Curieuse and St. Pierre islands)
From a guided tour of Cousin's colony of seabirds and rare land birds, we sail to Curieuse, the island with the largest colony of giant land tortoises near Mahé and the second largest forest of coco-de-mer palms after Praslin.

After a delicious Creole barbecue lunch at the ruins of a grand colonial house, the time is yours to relax and explore the forests before we sail to the tiny island of St. Pierre for snorkelling.

Full Day; includes transfers, landing fees, lunch, soft drinks and guide

Desert Island Discs (Grande S?ur and Coco islands)
A tour for castaways - this expedition visits two contrasting islands.

Coco island is a rocky islet crowned by palms and offers some of the best snorkelling in the Seychelles. Schools of tropical fish dart in and out of the coral just below the surface of the warm blue waters.

On Grande Sur's beautiful beaches turtles come to lay eggs in season while huge granite boulders rise through the forest of coconut palms. The island tour is followed by a barbecue lunch and an afternoon of more swimming and snorkelling.

Full Day; includes transfers, landing fees, lunch, soft drinks and guide

Nature Trails
This is a series of walking tours in which the pace is slow, to give you ample time to take photos and to admire the beautiful flora and fauna of our islands.

There are excellent trails on Mahé, Praslin, Silhouette and Aride in particular. Some of these reach the tops of the highest peaks and offer spectacular views over the sea and surrounding islands.

The tours cater for all ages and are accompanied by guides who are well versed in the ecology of the islands.

On Request: Full Day; includes guide only (bring your own snacks and refreshments)

Yacht Charter
How better to enjoy the thrill and space of the wide open ocean than aboard a yacht. This is the perfect way to visit some of the islands; going ashore to explore deserted beaches and cooking over open fires.

The Marine Charter Association has a selection of well equipped yachts and motor launches available for charter. Please contact the local tour operators for information and reservations.

Deep Sea Fishing
The Seychelles waters are a paradise for sports fishing. There is a choice of beach casting or deep sea fishing from a wide range of boats. Catches of our fishing parties have often made record books.

If you want to try your hand at catching some fighting fish like bonito, tuna, wahoo, sailfish or marlin you can book half day, full day, overnight or multi-day trips.
