Itinerary
Day 1 - Munich to the Dolomites, Italy
Meet on the outskirts of Munich to begin your driving adventure though Europe. Travel south on a panoramic route into the Dolomites, a section of the European Alps that stretches through Germany, Austria and Italy. Pass through the bustling ski-resort hub of Innsbruck and climb on into the mountains on narrow winding roads. Arrive in the quaint town of San Cassiano and check into the luxurious Rosa Alpina Spa hotel (a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group). Stretch your legs with a stroll around town in the crisp alpine air before enjoying dinner in the fine restaurant the St. Hubertus.

Day 2 - Dolomites, Italy
Drive through this spectacular mountain terrain, through the chic resort town of Cortina, the quaint village of Ortisei and stop alongside magnificent alpine meadows, valleys and sparkling clear lakes. Return to San Cassiano in time to hike the phenomenal mountain trails, relax at the spa or explore the local shops. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 3 - Lake Como, Italy
After breakfast, journey on through the Dolomites descending through the Brenner pass and passing the scenic vineyards of the Alto Adige. In a few hours you will reach the tranquil shores of Lake Como, where a narrow winding road carried you past some of the regions most opulent and glamorous villas. Arrive in the elegant town of Como, a medieval walled city on the southern end of the lake. This picturesque spot is a hub for the silk and textile industries and known as a shopper’s heaven. Take in the breathtaking backdrop as you explore the cobbled streets lined with fascinating boutiques and restaurants, and explore the magnificent Romanesque Cathedral.

Day 4 - Weggis, Lake Lucerne, Switzerland
This morning after breakfast, take the opportunity to set out across Lake Como by boat, or climb the funicular to Brunate where you can see spectacular views of the lake down to Bellagio. Afterwards, return to the steering wheel for your drive North through the staggering mountain passes into Switzerland. Cruise the coastline of Lake Lugano, pass through the stylish Lugano in the canton of Ticino and arrive in Weggis. Check into the luxurious Park Hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 5 - Beaune, France
After a relaxed breakfast you may decide to explore the beautiful cobbled streets of Lucerne. Set out on the road through rolling pastures into the heart of France and arrive in Burgundy. Drive through some of the world's most prestigious wine towns along the Cote de Nuit and arrive in the charming Medieval town of Beaune in time for dinner.

Day 6 - Puligny & the Cote d'Or, France
Cycle through the picturesque stone villages of the Cote de Beaune, into Pommard, Volnay and Meursault, past the world renowned vineyards and staggering lush countryside. Arrive in Puligny for a wine tasting lunch at Olivier Leflaive, one of the region's finest producers. Sample a wide variety of the wines made here with a typical Burgundian lunch of rosette, coq au vins, cheeses and dessert. Afterwards, cycle home with time to wander through the unique shops of Beaune and enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Day 7- Baden Baden
Drive North East into Germany, through Freiburg and into the Black Forest where winding roads provide stunning panoramas of mountains speckled with picturesque lakes and fairly tale villages. Arrive in Baden Baden, the elegant town where Roman emperor Caracalla once came to ease his arthritic aches in their thermal waters. An imposing list of clients such as Queen Victoria, Kaiser Wilhelm I, Napoleon III, Berlioz, Brahms, and Dostoyevsky have come here, giving Baden-Baden its reputation as the most elegant and sophisticated playground in Germany.

Day 8 - Black Forest to Munich, Germany
After breakfast, set out for your final drive through the idyllic landscape of the Black Forest. Pass through the interior of Southwest Germany to Munich and drop off your car either at the airport or on the outskirts of town before continuing on your journey homeward.
