Located beside Piazza Ferrari, the City Museum displays in more than 700 works of Rimini's 2000 years of history in 40 different galleries. 
Housed in the former Bishop's Palace, facing the mosque, the Diocesan Museum is devoted to religious art, with illustrated prayer books, tapestries, paintings (including some of Julio Romero de Torres's tamer works), and sculpture. The medieval wood sculptures are especially worth a look.
It offers the possibility to come into close contact with artistic masterpieces, by means of a series of plaster casts and wooden models reproducing some of the finest monuments and statues from Italy and around the world. 
On display at the Pinacoteca Civica in Treviso a wide selection of paintings from the Nineteenth century which are usually located in the public offices of our country. 
In 1459, Giorgio Orsini sculptor and architect, famous in Dalmatia and Ancona, designed the richly ornamented portal in late Gothic style.
Originally a fortification on the city walls in the port area later to become a Paleo-Christian church. At the beginning of the 1200's this church recieved a new Byzantine style facade, built by a master craftsman Filippo.
This tiny five naved church, built in sparkling white limestone, stands in the shadow of Monte Conero, just south of Ancona. It was built in the mid 11th Century, probably by Lombard builders brought here by French monks.
