The La Sorgente agritourism farm is located on a splendid natural terrace overlooking the valley that sits at the foot of the majestic Matese mountain chain just a short distance from the town of Macchiagodena in the province of Isernia. Of recent and meticulous restoration, the La Sorgente agritourism farm takes its name from an ancient spring found on the estate. The hospitality structure is composed of a characteristic stone farmhouse that maintains the rustic flavour of country life, surrounded by three hectares of land which originally belonged to an old noble family of the area. A menu for quality for those who are looking for tradition and wholesomeness at the table and in the cellar, and with respect for the season. 
The farm's wonderful geographic position allows you to take pleasant excursions to discover fascinating places rich in history . If instead your desires are of a sporting nature, there is skiing , on the slopes of Campitello Matese and Capracotta; and wonderful excursions on horseback are possible at Staffoli where every year in August there is one of the most important Italian equestrian gatherings (La Corsalonga) which attracts thousands of enthusiasts. From La Sorgente it is possible to reach the sea, mountains and principal nature reserves easily.
