 The tourist resort Sybaris Marine Club Resort is situated within the Sibari lakes, in charming surroundings where the luxuriant Mediterranean maquis borders on the clear, blue sea. The various types of accommodation making up the resort are spread out along the five peninsulas joining the jetties of the docks, and are subdivided into single-room apartments (about 35 sq. m.), made up of lounge with kitchenette, double bedroom on an intermediate floor, balcony and bathroom; two-room apartments (about 45 sq. m.), composed of lounge with kitchenette and divan bed, double bedroom, balcony and bathroom; three-room apartments (about 50 sq. m.), composed of lounge with kitchenette and double divan bed, double bedroom, room with twin or bunk beds, balcony and bathroom; four-room apartments (about 85 sq. m.) laid out on two levels, composed of lounge with kitchenette and double divan bed, small bathroom, double bedroom, room with twin or bunk beds, and bathroom. Moreover, the two- and three-room apartments have a lovely veranda when on the ground floor. Guests can choose among three different solutions: the apartment hotel formula, renting the apartment, or the apparthotel formula, providing for half or full board. The large, sandy beach, equipped with sun umbrellas and deck chairs and accessible only to guests of the resort, is between 1 and 2 km away, and can be reached on foot, through a scented wood of pine, mimosa and eucalyptus trees, or by using the shuttle service or by taking a boat. There are very many facilities available to guests, some included in the club membership card, others on payment: swimming pool, tennis, amphitheatre, animation, kiddies club and junior club, sailing school, boat hire, canoeing, windsurfing, 5-a-side football, horse riding, diving centre, golf course; in addition, inside the complex there are various shops, restaurants, pizzerias, discotheque, supermarket, newsagent, tobacconist, chemist and doctors surgery.
