 Located in the splendid bay of Copanello, a few km. from the important seaside resort of Soverato, lies the Village Club Cala Verde, an open touristic complex, made up of small villas in rows and areas dedicated to sport and animation activities. The accommodation, all laid out on two floors, with double entrance and a small, private, hedge-enclosed garden are available in three types, sleeping 4 and 6. The private beach (by arrangement) is just 200 to 300 m from the village, and is easily reached on foot; an extensive stretch of fine sand is lapped by a deep blue, crystal-clear sea, its bed sloping gently; sun umbrellas, deck chairs, showers bar, toilets and restaurant are all available. Also available to guests are a bar, swimming pool for adults and children, a large sun terrace and an internal unsupervised car park, tennis courts, 5-a-side football pitches, bowls, animation stage and a spacious green area of plants and grass. 300 metres away are a chemist's, tobacconist's, newsagent's, grocer's, bazaar, videogames room and restaurant; about 2 km away there is a supermarket, while in the neighbourhood there are pizzerias, pubs and a discotheque. Special attention is given to the entertainment of adults and youngsters alike. In fact, there is daytime animation with tourneys, games, Latin-American dancing and so on and in the evening there are cabarets and shows; the children have an area of the village to themselves, where a qualified staff of animators organise special activities and games for them throughout the day.
