Day 1 - usa to italy
Independent overnight flight from USA to Rome.

Day 2 - rome
Arrival at Rome Airport (FCO) and meeting with our English-speaking Tour Escort. Pick-up by private bus and transfer to the Catacombs of St. Callistus and to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls for a visit with our Tour Escort. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight. (D)

Day 3 - rome
In the morning Papal Audience. In the afternoon Half-Day Guided City Tour to visit the Basilica of St. Mary Major, and the Basilica of St. John in Lateran (plus the Holy Stairs).Dinner and overnight in hotel. (BB D)

Day 4 - rome
Full-Day Guided City Tour: in the morning visit of the Vatican Museums (Sistine Chapel included), and to St. Peter’s Basilica (including the crypt of John Paul II ). Day 5 - rome - assisi
Morning departure to Assisi. Arrival and Half-Day Guided City Tour to visit the places associated with St. Francis: St. Francis’ and St. Clare’s Basilicas. In the afternoon visit of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels with our Tour Escort. Dinner and overnight in hotel. (BB D)

Day 6 - assisi - siena - san gimignano assisi
Depart to Siena for a panoramic half-day Guided City Tour including the Cathedral and the famous Piazza del Campo. On to San Gimignano and time to stroll in the town center with our Tour Escort. Return to Assisi for dinner and overnight in hotel. (BB D)

Day 7 - assisi - florence - padua
In the morning departure to Florence. Arrival and Half-Day Guided City Tour to visit the Santa Croce Basilica, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the magnificent dome by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery with the golden bronze doors by Ghiberti, and Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio. Day 8 - padua - venice - lake como
Transfer to Venice Island for a half-day Guided City Tour to visit the Golden Basilica of St. Mark, St. Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doges’ Palace. In the afternoon departure to the Lake District and arrival in Lecco, the famous City of Manzoni’s characters Renzo and Lucia. Arrival at hotel, dinner and overnight. (BB D)

Day 9 - lake como
After breakfast, departure for a beautiful trip by ferry, crossing the magnificent Lake, and arrival in Bellagio, situated on the Southern coast of Lake Como and famous for its elegant villas and their colorful gardens. Panoramic visit with our Tour Escort, and time at leisure for personal activities and shopping. Dinner and overnight in hotel. (BB D)

Day 10 - lake como - milan malpensa
Breakfast. In the morning, transfer to Milan Airport (MXP) for your independent return flight. (BB)
