Independent overnight flight from USA to Milan.

Day 2 - italy - milan
Arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). You have the option of a private transfer to Torino or renting a car. Dinner in a typical Piemonte restaurant. Savour “Piedmontese” specialties such as, carne all’albese, agnolotti, brasato al Barolo and hazel-nut torte. Finish with a glass of the finest Barbera, Barbaresco or Barolo wines. Overnight
at hotel.

Day 3 - torino
A guided walking tour of Torino explores Italy’s “First” capital city (1861), from the Roman Doors to its splendid Baroque Palaces. Enjoy lunch in the historical Cafè Ristorante Platti. During your free time explore Torino on your own. Take a cooking class, shop in world class stores, indulge in the famous gelati of the Piemonte, visit museums, or simply relax. Your evening ends with a memorable guided tour: Magic Turin or Underground Turin. (BB L)

Day 4 - torino - langhe
After breakfast, enjoy your free time in the Porta Palazzo open-market, the largest in Europe. Look for their many Italian specialties. This afternoon transfer to Langhe. We travel through the Piemonte countryside to arrive at the Villa Beccaris Hotel, an elegant resort set in the heart of the wine region. Enjoy dinner at La Posta Restaurant in Monforte. (BB D)

Day 5 - langhe
This morning, explore Barbaresco village, the home of Gaja wines. Take a guided tour of Marchesi di Gresy winery or stroll in Barolo and enjoy a guided tour at Marchesi di Barolo winery, the birthplace of the magnificent Barolo wine. After the tour, savour a wine tasting of the best Barbera, Barbaresco and Barolo wines. Stroll in picturesque La Morra village and admire the breathtaking panorama. Enjoy lunch at the Ristorante Belvedere in La Morra to enjoy all that Piemonte cuisine has to offer. This afternoon, stroll in Alba, land of the “white truffle” with its famous medieval city center. Stop at Truffle & Co. to taste delectable Langhe specialties. This evening, dine at Locanda nel Borgo in Barolo-Monforte. (BB L D)

Day 6 - milan
Check-out of the hotel and transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Or perhaps extend your stay? Liguria, Cinque Terre and Portofino are a short 2 hour drive away. Tuscany, the Chianti area, and Siena are 4 hours by car. Venice is just a 4 hour train ride away. (BB)
