DAYS 1-2: USA or Canada/Venice, Italy Fly overnight to Venice where you are met at the airport and transferred by private launch to your hotel, an impressive former monastery on its very own island with views of San Marco and the lagoon. DAY 3: Venice
Take a boat ride to central Venice and walk with your guide in St. Mark's Square as you gaze at the Basilica, the Bell Tower and the pink-and-white marble of the Doge's Palace. DAY 4: Venice/Florence After a morning at leisure in Venice and lunch on your own, depart by train for Florence. Dine tonight on traditional Tuscan cuisine in a local restaurant. Helvetia & Bristol B D
DAY 5: Florence See the Renaissance palaces, churches and squares of this beautiful city with a visit to the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David, and the famous Uffizi Gallery, housing a magnificent collection of art treasures. DAY 6: Florence/Pisa/Florence In Pisa visit the Baptistery, Duomo and the famous Leaning Tower, all in the beautiful Campo dei Miracoli. After lunch, return to Florence, stopping en route at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic views. Dinner this evening is on your own. Helvetia & Bristol B L
DAY 7: Florence/Rome and Vatican City

DAY 8: Rome Ancient Rome is on tap this morning, with stops at the Forum and Colosseum. After lunch on your own, take part in an exclusive training with Roman "gladiators." DAY 9: Rome/USA or Canada After breakfast transfer to the airport to board a homebound flight. B
