La Serra
"La Serra" is the name of the hotel restaurant and it reflects the hotel's style in every way: it offers Florentine and Italian cuisine with a few international touches. The main emphasis, however, is on Tuscan cuisine, using fresh, seasonal products.

The right combination of the wine with every dish is essential for the success of a truly wonderful meal. Our wine list offers a selection of famous wines such as Sassicaia, Brunello di Montalcino, Solaia, Chianti Classico, Sagrantino di Montefalco, Cervaro della Sala and other lesser known, and therefore more economical, but excellent wines worth discovering. And at the end of the meal, nothing is better than a cup of good Italian coffee. We offer a selection of blends created exclusively for us by Casa del Moka and a type of coffee, 100% Portorican, supplied to us by the most famous roaster in Florence, Piansa.

The restaurant, on the ground floor of the hotel, is very luxurious, with good natural lighting and a view of Piazzale Michelangelo and the church of San Miniato al Monte. The tables are set with great care and attention to details... fresh flowers by day, romantic candles in the evening, plates handsomely decorated with the lily, the symbol of Florence … the service is courteous and attentive.
"La Serra" is also the ideal meeting place for working luncheons and small receptions.

The spacious lobbies of the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi, always filled with fresh flowers and quite unique in Florence for their size, comfort, lighting and elegance, are ideal for relaxing. Or you might choose to take advantage of the convenient spaces to use the Wi-Fi connection at the disposal of our guests, perhaps while sipping coffee, during a business meeting or just to stay in touch with your loved ones.

In the heart of Florence, not far from the train station and the Duomo (Cathedral) and very close to the main attractions such as Piazza Santa Croce, the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio, the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi is the ideal location for meetings or company conventions: we will take charge of organizing the event with all the attention and professional skill necessary for its success.

The hotel has two meeting rooms:
the Sala degli Specchi which can accommodate a maximum of 150 people with auditorium seating and the Sala Rosa which can accommodate a maximum of 100 people, also with auditorium seating.

Our meeting rooms are located on the ground floor, where they receive full daylight, and they can be arranged in a variety of ways depending on your needs.

We also dispose of a full range of audiovisual instruments including, in the Sala degli Specchi, a wide screen and 50 inch plasma TV with high definition, ideal for all applications of visual communication.
On request we can provide simultaneous translation services, videoconferencing, etc.
