Marie Antoinette Suite
Et voilà l'histoire de France! This suite offers romantic grandeur at its finest. Rest in a golden and pink baroque-style room, featuring two 18th-century canopy beds delivered from a royal palace. Other antiques include two large vases from the Mirror Gallery in Versailles, with two amazing console tables. Maria Antoinette led a sumptuous life of leisure, but met with peril; fortunately, in our suite dedicated to her memory, you can revel in the former and skip the latter.
A lavish highlight of our romantic hotel, this suite contains French "singeries" on the wall's tapestry, reminiscent of the French court in the 18th century. And the bathroom, originally an ancient dungeon, recalls the prisoners of the castle.
The suite has a sitting room, and for your entertainment, a plasma televisions with cable in the bedroom.

Maria Carolina Suite
This suite at this luxury hotel in Tuscany is dedicated to Maria Carolina di Borbone, daughter of the former King of Naples. An ancestor of the Marchesa Ricci, she chose to be a Sicilian Lucchesi Palli Princess rather than the queen of France.
You can see her magnificent court dresses in blue stitched velvet that she wore bowing before the King of France, the extraordinary Sicilian gilded 19th century canopy bed, and a large portrait of the first King of Naples, Charles III.
Between the pink curtains and red fabric tapestries, you can climb into the bathroom and enjoy the view of our gardens.
For your entertainment the suite features plasma televisions in the living room, bedroom and bathroom.

Duca di Genova Suite
The Duca di Genova suite exemplifies the luxury and history of this Relias hotel in Tuscany. This suite is dedicated to Ferdinando di Savoia, great-grandfather of the Marchesa Ricci, commanding officer of the Piedmontese army of King Carlo Alberto.
Sleep in his battlefield canopy bed, beneath blue and red fabric and a regal crown. The drums surrounding the bed, once used to sound the call of battle, now make a fine set of bedside tables. Queens, kings and princesses of decked out in regalia adorn the walls. A French door overlooks the beautiful grounds with the formal Italian garden.
Furnishings come from the families of Savoy and Bavaria and are mostly 18th-century, royal with a touch of the dramatic.
For your entertainment the suite features plasma televisions in the living room, bedroom and bathroom.

Cesarino's Tower Room
Who is Cesarino? Nobody knows. But in this suite of the Relias hotel in Italy, he is the mysterious man atop a white horse who gazes down from the painting above your bed.
Relax among the mixture of Swedish, Charles X and English light-coloured 19th century wood furniture. The beams and brickwork in the roof are the original trussing of the tower, which was built in the Middle Ages.

The Russian Room
In the Russian Room, you may witness the love story between Count Miniato Ricci, ancestor of the Marchese Ricci, and Princess Zenaide Volkonsky unfold in a scene reminiscent of Pushkin's theatrical work.
Feel the warmth of the 18th century Russian furniture and the mansard-style roof in this luxury hotel in Italy, making for a very cozy room with light-beige tapestries and damask curtains.

The Napoleon Room
This Historic hotel offers you a room to experience the glory of Napoleon in the bedroom and the battle of Waterloo in the bathroom.
Upon entering the room, you step into an imperial green tent embellished with Napoleonic furniture and two original chairs used at Napoleon's wedding in Notre Dame.
A large painting covering the walls represents the Egypt campaign, while the General Staff of the Prussian army, victors of the Battle of Waterloo, adorn the bathroom.

Room of the Paladin
The Room of the Paladin is located at the first floor of the ancient medieval tower.
In the High Middle Ages, Carlo Magno built a road for the pilgrims connecting France to Rome and passing through the woods of the Relais in Italy. So perhaps he stopped here to have a look at La Suvera. Dudone, one of his Paladins, looks over you from an imposing "succo d'erba" tapestry of the 17th century, while you sleep in a four-posted bed. The furniture is French 17th century, and the walls are an antique pink.

The Elena Room
Elena, daughter of the owners of this Relais Tuscany, played in this room. Experience a light, childlike atmosphere with flowery tapestries, pictures of animals, late 19th century light-colored wood furniture, as well as a four-posted king-size bed from which you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of the valley, especially at sunset.

Inside, you can dine in the cozy atmosphere of the 18th century olive oil mill, surrounded by ancient oil producing machines, linen hangings, table cloths, candles, Egyptian style wall paintings, baroque chandeliers and a fireplace.
In the summer, you can dine in the restaurant terrace facing the Papal Villa, surrounded by olive trees and aromatic Mediterranean herbs.

The estate wines are produced from a selection of grapes organically grown on the Relais La Suvera estate. The Ricci Family, originally from Montepulciano, has a century-long tradition of wine production.

Our Wines
Giulio II is a Tuscany wine from vines specially cloned from Sangiovese, with Cabernet, and a second vintage partially from Merlot and Malvasia Nera, which is aged from 15 to 18 months, resulting in a rich bouquet of aromas and flavors. One would expect no less from its namesake, the great Pope Giulio II, known for his overbearing, unpredictable character, but capable of extraordinary sensitivity in his relationship with the arts.L'Antico Bianco comes from the Trebbiano grape and Chardonnay, and whose peculiarities allow it to undergo an extraordinary evolution of organic characteristics as it ages, which results in a distinctively fruity allure.If you are interested in Tuscany wine tasting, you can try from our estate wines and other excellent cellars from the region, as selected by our sommelier and accompanied by exquisite Italian cheeses.Our estate wines are available at the Oliviera Restaurant and the Bar Dei Limoni.
