Il Mulinaccio is an old watermill adjacent to a small stream, set in a picturesque valley near Radda in Chianti. The oldest part of the house dates from the 1400s and served as a communications tower between two castles. Restorations have kept the building faithful to its ancient heritage while ensuring that it meets the requirements of modern living.

Ideally situated between Gaiole and Radda, two of Chianti's prettiest towns, Il Mulinaccio is surrounded by 12 acres of gardens, well-tended lawns, and front and back terraces for outside dining. The large swimming pool is secluded by lawns and trees. The villa is owned by Romano Rampini, of Rampini Ceramics fame, and his beautiful pottery is on display throughout the villa.
