Brandmeyer also instructed local farmers in the latest agricultural techniques. The Oasi Olimpia Relais is situated in the hilly part of Saint Agata sui due Golfi. The villa was constructed in 1892 for Max Brandmeyer, an aristocrat of German origin, who, enchanted by the beauty of the area, decided to buy the whole plot of land on which to build a luxurious residence.
