Regina Hotel, Baglioni, Italy Vacation and Luxury Travel Package

Welcome Welcome to the Eternal City I’m pretty sure the bulk of you, while talking about Rome, think first of the Vatican’s sumptuousness, the Colosseum’s majesty, the lights, colours, sound and magical atmosphere of Via Veneto, the cradle and myth of Rome’s Dolce Vita, immortalized and celebrated by Fellini’s notorious film. Time changes, but customs don’t: Via Veneto still evokes these days, just as in the past, the same feeling of worldly pleasure and vanity. And it is exactly there where our splendid Regina Hotel Baglioni is based: and ageless lady, always ahead of her time, constantly caring those values which have given her glory and prestige or, in other words, the detail, customized service, competence and professionalism of our staff. The main character is our Guest. We’ll be waiting for you within the frame of this magnificent scenario where you’ll experience an unforgettable stay.
Regina Hotel Dining

Choose between a mini day cruise or the evening cruise with candlelit dinner. The route begins from Castel Sant’Angelo to the Tiber island and those drawn to the Eternal city cannot afford to miss an evening like this. The magic created on these boats is unique, courteous and professional. Staff wait on clients and are there to provide information and an impeccable service during dinner.
Castelli Romani All the market towns in the area offer a wide choice of feasts, culinary traditions and historical museums. The Castelli Romani are to be found a few miles south-east of Rome; they are rich in amazing sites, all boasting breath-taking views. These villages are quaint and picturesque, immersed in a well cared for lush landscape. In the heart of the Castelli Romani is the Castelli Romani Natural Park, a protected area of special naturalistic interest. There are sixteen towns around the Castelli Romani: Albano Laziale, Ariccia, Castel Gandolfo, Colonna, Frascati, Genzano di Roma, Grottaferrata, Lanuvio, Lariano, Marino, Monte Compatri, Monte Porzio Catone, Nemi, Rocca di Papa, Rocca Priora, Velletri. Amongst the most celebrated products of the area are roast suckling pig from Ariccia, bread and ceps from Lariano, chestnuts from Rocca di Papa, Nemi’s strawberries and Frascati’s wine. Check website for further information with regard to events.
La Città del Gusto The City is composed of five floors, all wired, where you can eat, drink and even learn, take part in events, conferences and tastings, meet up with people and talk about food & wine culture. On the first floor you’ll see the Salone Dei Grandi Eventi, a hall 1,000 sqm wide accomodating up to 500 guests: a great place for oenogastronomic exhibitions, meetings, shows and displays. On the second floor you’ll come across the Osteria, which is open all day from breakfast until dinner time, here you can also enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine or a great pizza for supper. Right next to it, Il Negoziowhere you’ll find all of Gambero Rosso’s books as well as a selection of high-quality oenogastronomic products, gourmet accessories and the likes. On the third floor, the Scuole Del Gambero Rosso: here you’ll learn how to cook, taste and work in the oenogastronomic sector: 4 classrooms/kitchens each boasting 12 fully-equipped work stations, where lessons take place; the patisserie lab and 2 other classrooms where teaching is more “traditional”. The Teatro Della Cucina:, which was made in the shape of an amphitheatre and furnished like an 19th century theatre, is one of the symbols of La Città del gusto. Here the best Italian and European chefs’ teams cook for an audience who watch the preparation of wonderful dishes. The theatre may also be used as a space for conventions as well as a great hall, sampling hall or for exhibitions. On the fourth floor are the TV studios where Gambero Rosso’s programme is broadcast via satellite; lastly, on the top floor, IL Teatro Del Vino/Wine Bar: this is the other symbol of La Città del gusto: Whether you want to drink it or talk about it, superb wines are here to be enjoyed and savoured.
Enoteca Ferrara Their philosophy is not just to offer a brilliant range of wines – either to sample or buy – and food delicacies, but also to create special relationships with their clients. For instance, you may have the recipes of what you’ve eaten or attend special events and wine tastings. 650 labels of white and red wines accompany tasty regional dishes. Found in the quaint Piazza Trilussa in Rome’s borough of Trastevere, Enoteca Ferrara is an excellent choice for those wanting to enjoy great wines along with delicious food. In elegant premises boasting a unique design, the Enoteca Ferrara is proud of being a popular meeting place for the people in Rome as it is atmospheric and more than just a place for dinner parties or for sampling Italy’s best wines. The wine bar is divided into separate rooms: the first one is devoted to serving the wine (“mescita”), the second is a hall with tables and the third is a restaurant where you can eat anything from soups to fillets, from salads to desserts. Their cakes are delicious, original and interesting, like the “Cinque variazioni di cioccolato” (five different types of chocolate). The Enoteca Ferrara won the award for Italy’s best wine bar in 2003 and the restaurant currently holds the prestigious “two forks” awarded by Gambero Rosso. The wine bar is an ideal place to enjoy an evening of good food and great wine and it is also open until late at night for those feeling peckish after having gone to the theatre.
