Originally used for milling flour and making wine, La Limonaia Grande and La Limonaia Piccola have recently been restored to the highest standards while retaining much of their original terra cotta tile and wooden beams. These homes share the fenced, heated swimming pool located next to Limonaia Grande. Smaller parties may rent La Limonaia Grande only, and enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and swimming pool.

Settle into La Limonaia Grande's spacious sitting room with its open fireplace and French doors leading out onto the orchard. Descend La Limonaia Piccola's hidden staircase to discover an old wine cellar with vaulted ceilings, now converted to a game room. Arrive at both villas along a private drive that leads through the surrounding woods, and follow it on a short stroll to the nearest village, Ponte a Moriano, where small shops - and delicious Tuscan treats - await. Venture further to the ancient walled city of Lucca, just a ten minute drive away, or take advantage of La Limonaia's splendid location to visit the nearby Renaissance centers of Florence, Pisa and Siena.
