High atop a dramatic Tuscan hill, Il Castello is a collection of houses that form part of a picturesque hamlet within the shadow of an impressive 11thC castle. Perched high above the Val di Chiana, the setting is incomparable for its breathtaking views. The main and guest houses are lovingly restored with impeccably tasteful décor. The main house, available on its own, is ideal for six and offers magnificent gardens and stunning views. An adjacent village house can welcome up to six additional guests, making the property perfect for large groups or families who like some independence.

Each house is beautifully decorated by a renowned British designer, David Mlinaric. Comfortable bedrooms all have en suite baths. Cozy living spaces with beamed ceilings create a convivial atmosphere. The stunning gardens include a private pool perched high above the countryside. Guests also have access to the hamlet's private chapel and restored theatre - perfect for an intimate wedding and reception, or a special celebration.

Two new properties, Villa Melissa and Casa Victoria, are also available in this magical private hamlet, allowing a maximum of 26 guests when all four homes are reserved together. Three bedrooms with 3 full en suite bathrooms (tub, shower, double sinks) in both Casa Janine and Casa Teatro. Each house has the same combination of bed sizes (1 King 72"; 1 Queen, 66"; and 1 Twin, 39", which can be combined as a King). Villa Melissa has 4 bedrooms while Casa Victoria has 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms.

Casa Janine has a cozy living room with fireplace and delightful views. Dining room seats up to 12. Private study. Casa Teatro has a smaller living room, dining room & well-equipped kitchen.

Washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen including dishwasher; satellite TV, CD stereo in all houses.

Casa Janine has beautifully tended grounds with fruit trees, olive trees, magnificent views. Outdoor terraces (covered & open). Quiet footpath leads to swimming pool (39?x 20?) with private seating areas, pool house, change room & bathroom. Casa Teatro has two private garden seating areas. NOTE: may share swimming pool with other HomesAway guests when Villa Melissa and Casa Victoria are being used concurrently by a separate group.
