Once an old tobacco-drying tower and adjoining barn, Casa Celeste has been completely and lovingly rebuilt using authentic materials and period building methods.  Inside, the décor exudes relaxed Italian flare with many local antique finds, but also with all the modern amenities one would want.   Accommodating 2 to 4 guests, Casa Celeste sits on 14 acres, dotted with olive and walnut trees and offering splendid views of the undulating countryside.

A cozy haven of peace and tranquility, this property is the perfect home base from which to explore Umbria. From the cobbled streets of quaint hilltop towns like Gubbio and Perugia, or the artisan towns of Città di Castello and Umbertide, to the tomb of St. Francis of Assisi and much more. Enjoy a boat excursion on nearby Lake Trasimeno or take a daytrip by car to explore Sansepolcro (home of Piero della Francesca), Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Cortona, the waterfalls at Narni, or perhaps further afield — Orvieto, Montepulciano, Siena, and Florence.

Sleeps up to 4 adults in 2 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Ground floor: Bedroom 1 (Queen, 63") with bathroom across hall (tub, sink, toilet and bidet).  Second floor: Bedroom 2 (Twins, 32”  that can be pushed together to make a Queen, 64") and en suite (shower, sink and toilet).

Quaint modern kitchen with open plan dining area and living room equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, stereo, and three sets of French doors opening onto a covered portico looking west over the Tiber Valley.

Fourteen acre grounds with olive and walnut trees, great views in all directions from the outside covered loggia at the front of the house to the gazebo near the large pool with spa pool and waterfall. The gazebo offers a BBQ and small kitchen area to dine al fresco while enjoying the pool and lovely grounds.

Horseback riding, biking (hilly terrain), boat rides on Lake Trasimeno.
