In a breathtaking location on a south-facing hill and overlooking the valley of the River Tiber, La Casa Trastevere is situated between the historic Etruscan hill town of Todi and Orvieto in the heart of the idyllic Umbrian countryside. Recent renovations provide the house with all modern conveniences and a much-loved feeling of a family home. Four bedrooms sleep up to eight people comfortably and are split between the main house and guest annex, a design that allows privacy and independence. When the group wants to gather together, the living rooms are large and relaxed, and outdoors you can dine under the wisteria vines or on the many terraces.

The mature, well-tended gardens are especially appealing: flowers blossom throughout the year and the large, fenced property includes a grove of olive and fruit trees. The terraces are arranged on several levels, each providing a different view across the Tiber Valley. The BBQ area makes outdoor dining even more pleasurable. The pool is located above the house and has spectacular views.

The property comes complete with English language satellite TV, DVD, video and book libraries and a computer with internet access. There is even a well-equipped gymnasium. It all makes La Casa Trastevere feel like the ultimate private retreat.

Sleeps 8 in 4 double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 (Queen, 63") and Bedroom 2 (Queen, 63"), both in the main house, each have en suite bathrooms (one with tub, one with shower). The main house has an additional full bathroom and powder room. The nearby guest house with Bedroom 3 (Twins, each 36") & Bedroom 4 (Doubles, 55") share a central bathroom (shower).
