Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2 - Arrive Rome
Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City! After check-in there is time to relax before a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director and fellow travelers.

Day 3 - Rome sightseeing – Montecatini (Tuscan Hills) (6 nights)
Our guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to St. Peter’s in the Vatican then we cross the Tiber River into ancient Rome where we overlook the Forum and the Colosseum. Afterwards, a scenic drive takes us into the Tuscan Hills for our arrival at the spa resort of Montecatini. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 4 - San Gimignano & Siena excursion
Today our Tour Director will share the secret of a Hidden Treasure. First we drive to San Gimignano, a ‘medieval Manhattan’, with time to explore its winding streets. Then to Siena to see the Piazza del Campo, scene of the celebrated Palio horse race and the stunning marble cathedral, before returning to Montecatini. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 5 - Montecatini at leisure
After breakfast enjoy a full day at leisure to do as you please. This evening we enjoy a Highlight Dinner with wine at a local restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)
Day 6 - Florence excursion
It’s a short drive to Renaissance Florence, where a walking tour with a local guide, using our audio system, shows us the Duomo, Piazza Signoria and visits the Santa Croce Basilica. After our Highlight Lunch in a local restaurant perhaps take an excursion to explore the museums, the Uffizzi galleries or the Pitti Palace. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight lunch)
Day 7 - Pisa – Torre del Lago Puccini & Forte dei Marmi excursion
First to Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower, the finely sculpted marble cathedral and the ornate baptistery. Then we continue to the splendid Italian Riviera, via Torre del Lago Puccini to see where the great 19th century composer wrote “La Boheme”, followed by a stop at the fashionable seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi. Finally we visit an olive oil mill, taste the different varieties and enjoy a
delicious dinner. (Buffet breakfast / 'Be My Guest' lunch)
Day 8 - Montecatini at leisure
A full day to relax by the pool or do more sightseeing. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 9 - Montecatini (Tuscan Hills) – Assisi – Rome
We drive to St. Francis’ Assisi where we visit the Basilica and enjoy a guided walking tour. Finally, back to Rome where we enjoy a Farewell Dinner tonight. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
