Hebridean Island Cruises, Vacations and Luxury Tour Packages

Hebridean provide luxury cruises for the individual. We explore little-visited corners - of the Red and Arabian Seas, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean and the Baltic, and the ethereal waters of the west coast of Scotland - there are still such places left, and we will take you there in style and comfort. Hebridean Cruise Itineraries. The luxury cruise line, Hebridean Island Cruises, have been operating cruise ships since 1989. The first vessel, Hebridean Princess, has cruised Scotland's West Coast waters for the past fourteen years and has built up a very loyal following. Many people knew her as the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry MV Columba before her reincarnation as a luxurious cruise shipfor this world class luxury cruise line.
Following Hebridean Princess' success the second vessel, Hebridean Spirit, was acquired and, having herself undergone an extensive refit, she started cruising in July 2001. Her year-round programme takes her to intriguing destinations from the Arctic to the Tropics. Both ships are run in line with the company philosophy that "small is personal" and there can be no more convincing endorsement of this than the fact that more than half our guests are return visitors.

Why Choose Hebridean?
Small is unique. As our guests often tell us, there is no cruising experience quite like Hebridean. A very special ambience, luxury and attention to detail, individually designed and elegant cabins, fine food and wine, good company, and that rare and indefinable extra ingredient - if this is for you, Hebridean will not disappoint you.
Small is personal. Our ships are genuinely small, the very first to coin the phrase "floating country house hotel", and with a passenger to crew ratio of almost one to one you will enjoy service which is second to none, and as individual as you are.
Small is innovative. Little-visited corners of the Mediterranean, the Baltic, the Red and Arabian Seas, the Indian Ocean and the ethereal waters off the west coast of Scotland - there are still such places left - and we will take you there.
Our cruises are all-inclusive. Not an empty promise, but a Hebridean policy to reassure you that if a carefree holiday is what you desire, there need be no reason to put your hand in your pocket once on board.
Flexibility. We all lead busy lives these days, and so flexibility is increasingly important to make the very best of your holiday. Three of our cruises in the Indian Ocean this winter can be split to take a 6, 7 or 8 night break in paradise, and we have also partnered with 3 tour operators for our long haul programme in Asia and the Indian Ocean. They can create tailor-made extensions to your holiday either pre- or post-cruise. For the perfect opportunity to explore, relax, and unwind, combine their imaginative options with our new cruise-only tariff for this region.
Travelling solo. Solo travellers have always been very welcome on board, with no question of feeling awkward or ill at ease. You may choose to dine with fellow single travellers at a table hosted by one of our officers, and going ashore is always a joy - accompanied by our favourite guides or an experienced Tour Manager, explore independently or join like-minded travellers for our interesting shore visits. Alternatively, spend time with a good book in a quiet corner -we have excellent on-board libraries. Whatever your approach to relaxation, enjoy the freedom to do as you choose. Both ships have cabins designed especially with single travellers in mind. |
