Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Oban
Embarkation in Oban.
Day 2 Eigg
Take a morning walk to An Sgurr, time permitting, and enjoy the remarkable rock formations before sailing along the north west coast of Skye. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner in the evening.
Day 3 Shiant Isles and East Loch Tarbert on Harris
Cruise the North Minch before a beach landing at the Shiant Isles for walks ashore and then an island coach tour of Harris, including spectacular beaches and a visit to the Plocropol Weavers.
Day 4 Mingulay, Pabbay or Berneray and Barra
Cruise around the stunning tiny westerly islands of the Outer Hebrides with a beach landing on one for walks ashore. In the evening set sail for our overnight berth at Barra.
Day 5 Muck
Sail across the Sea of the Hebrides to the small and fertile island of Muck to enjoy more spectacular walks ashore.
Day 6 Ulva and Iona
At Ulva take a trip to Sheila’s Cottage Museum and the Boathouse for refreshments. After sailing past Fingal’s Cave on Staffa in the afternoon, visit tranquil Iona Abbey and the Nunnery or walk to the‘Bay at the Back of the Ocean’.
Day 7 Loch na Mile on Jura and Colonsay
Head south to beautiful Jura and a stunning Summer stroll to its capital, Craighouse, or enjoy a walk or cycle ride before a visit to Colonsay House Gardens. Farewell Gala Dinner in the evening.
Day 8 Oban
Disembarkation in Oban.
