Day 2 Scrabster and Kirkwall on Mainland Orkney

In the morning take a trip to the former home of the late Queen Mother at Castle of Mey in Caithness before cruising to Mainland Orkney for late afternoon walks ashore. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner in the evening.

Day 3 Stronsay and Westray

A morning visit to the natural wonder of the Vat of Kirbister on Stronsay is followed by an outing to Noup Head Lighthouse and Bird Reserve on Westray.

Day 4 Stromness on Mainland Orkney

Visit two awe inspiring Neolithic sights – the fascinating excavated village of Skara Brae followed by the Ring of Brodgar, a truly impressive stone circle. Later cruise past the famous Old Man of Hoy.

Day 5 Kylesku and Tanera Mor

Experience the beautiful Kerrachar Gardens, one of ‘the 10 best gardens to visit in Summer’ according to the Independent. After lunch enjoy excellent walks at Tanera Mor in the beautiful Summer Isles.

Day 6 Gairloch and Portree on Skye

Soak up the stunning Summer scents and sights at Inverewe Gardens, with its famous walled garden or walk Flowerdale Glen. On Skye partake in some shopping or relaxing walks in Portree.

Day 7 Muck and Coll

On the tiny island of Muck in the morning and on the larger Coll in the afternoon there are more opportunities for spectacular walks. Farewell Gala Dinner in the evening.

Day 8 Oban

Disembarkation in Oban.
