Day 2 At sea

Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner in the evening.

Day 3 Scrabster

Cruise across the Pentland Firth to Scrabster and the Castle and Gardens of Mey, home of the late Queen Mother until 1996.

Day 4 Kirkwall on Orkney Mainland

Hebridean Princess cruises the Pentland Firth to Kirkwall. Go ashore on Mainland Orkney for wonderful walks and a visit to St Magnus’ Cathedral or a coach tour of the island.

Day 5  Fair Isle

Cruise northeast to Fair Isle, lying remotely between Orkney and Shetland, for magnificent walks and a visit to the bird reserve.

Day 6 Burravoe on Yell and Lunna Voe on Shetland Mainland

On Shetland’s second largest island visit the Old Haa Museum and catch sight of some otters before continuing to southern Mainland Shetland to see the historic church of Lunna Kirk and the original base for the Shetland Bus.

Day 7 Lerwick on Shetland Mainland

Visit the picturesque port of Lerwick before a coach trip to Shetland’s capital, Scalloway, and an enlightening tour of the Shetland Museum and Archives.

Day 8

Long stretches of sandy beach and myriad wildlife greet you on beautiful Sanday. Enjoy an afternoon of great walks.

Day 9 Stronsay and Scrabster

At the tiny island of Stronsay see the Vat of Kirbister, an impressive natural cliff archway, occupied by nesting birds and wildflowers. Farewell Gala Dinner in the evening.

Day 10  Scrabster

Disembarkation in Scrabster.
