Holland America Line Ships ms Ryndam … enhanced amenities and services With a Dutch worldwide exploration theme, the décor of the ms Ryndam features art and artifacts from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The ms Statendam is the fifth ship to bear the name in Holland America Line's 133-year history. With more than $2 million worth of art and artifacts, the ms Statendam features a theme of Dutch life and exploration. The Van Gogh Theater is a work of art in itself. Themed to Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh's paintings "The Starry Night" and "Irises," the room features computerized fiber optic lighting as well as a state-of-the-art sound system.
